Here they are! All the Mr. Wizards on ONE page that's easier to access than Billy's Blue Cross files! ALL in RealAudio!
Note--I discovered two Mr. Wizards on a misplaced tape from 1989! Since these are in chronological order, the new ones are at the end!
This
is the FIRST Mr. Wizard I ever produced. I never knew it would be
the hit that it became on the show. This episode takes place at the
Turf Club, an ill-conceived horse race facility in Birmingham.
Mr.
Wizard demonstrates Air Pressure, which gives Billy an inflated
image of himself.
Mr.
Wizard shows billy that when you want to know stress points, you
gotta cross that bridge when you get to it.
Mr
Wizard shows Billy how time is relative, relatively speaking.
Mr.
Wizard shows Billy how inertia works, and Billy says, "G's!"
Mr.
Wizard gives Billy a sound lesson on a light subject.
Mr.
Wizard makes sure Billy gets the point about acupuncture. (This
episode guest stars Kurt Kilpatrick)
Mr.
Wizard shows Billy that when it comes to studying falling objects,
there's always a catch.
Mr.
Wizard demonstrates to Billy how to keep his head above water. Almost.
Mr.
Wizard gives Billy sound advice on sound.
Mr.
Wizard lets Billy's imagination take flight. Along with the rest
of him.
Its
shocking the things Billy learns about electricity.
Mr.
Wizard treats the gang to a holiday cookout!
Mr.
Wizard gives Billy a hand...right in the eye.
Billy
rockets
to the head of the class.
Mr.
Wizard explores Billy's magnetic personality.
Mr.
Wizard has a germ of an idea...and Billy catches it.
Billy
gets the word on his problems from Mr. Wizard (at this point,
everybody got into the act! This episode was written by my copywriting
pal, Ted Vodde).
Billy
gets caught in the act (and THIS episode was written by Bob Burton,
half of the Burt and Kurt radio team)!
A note of explanation: "Cousin Cliff" is a local Birmingham, Alabama
magician/comedian.
If
you like to tidy up in space, how do you make a vacuum cleaner?
The
ants
go marching two by two...and Billy is the field.
Billy
makes a spash with Pool Safety Rules.
Billy
sticks to Mr. Wizard...and everything else...in this cohesive episode.
When
Billy meets Mr. Wizard...you can bet there'll be fireworks!
Mr.
Wizard gets himself into a non-hairy situation.
This
was a slight departure from the series--this is a commercial for the
Mr. Wizard Day Care. This guest stars my two sons, who were 4 and 6
at the time!
If
Mr. Wizard had a hobby, would he bother Billy so much? Or
is bothering Billy his hobby?
Mr.
Wizard begins a series on the senses? I heard that!
Mr.
Wizard keeps in touch with Billy.
Will
Mr. Wizard get a taste of his own medicine?
It
takes a far sight more than this to get Billy down!
Mr.
Wizard takes Billy to the Grocery Store.
Billy
discovers the stuff that dreams are made of.
When
the heat is on, things are looking up for Billy. But when
its cold.... (This is the LAST Mr. Wizard, broadcast in '89!)
