A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WHAT PROF. ZOUNDS DOES:
If I'm on a stage, I ask the audience to challenge me to make ANY sound with my mouth. I take the suggestions and create comedy bits around the sounds. I involve the kids in the audience with sound effects challenges, game shows, silly sing-alongs, and more. The stage show usually runs from 20 to 45 minutes. And since the show is 90% improvized, its never the same show twice! And this show is enjoyed by people of ALL ages.
If space is limited, I can set up in a small space with my own microphone and portable amp. The above show works in ANY size space...from a huge stage to the area under a tree.
If you don't want a formal stage show, I wander around and do comedy for small groups or even individuals. I do pantomime, slapstick, sidewalk chalk art, puppets, sound effects challenges, and games.
I also play my Jaw harp, Kazoo, and Nazo-phone with silly tunes.
For Professor Zounds, EVERYTHING is a "prop". Give me a paper cup, a napkin, a bottlecap, a rock, a coin...you name it...and I'll do comedy with it.
